	The chamber at a glance
	EBC membership groups, thousands of companies of every size in over 130 countries worldwide. They represent a broad cross-section of business activity including manufacturing, trade, services and the professions. Through membership of EBC, companies shape rules and policies that stimulate international trade and investment. These companies in turn count on the prestige and expertise of EBC to get business views across to governments and intergovernmental organizations, whose decisions affect corporate finances and operations worldwide. It is the Registrar for International Business Companies and trusts and regulates International Trade Zone activities. Through a blending of dedicated professionals and efficient systems, EBC is able to provide swift name approvals, incorporation and licensing with minimal bureaucracy. The result is that certificates of may be issued within an hour, ensuring that EBC is one of the fastest Registrars in the world.

We are International in Character

The European Business Chamber established in 1972, as well as the voice for commercial organisation in Europe and the world. It is also unique in the local context in that membership is open to companies and individuals of all races and nationalities. Four of the Chamber's original members are still members of the Chamber.

Currently, over 30 nationalities are represented in the Chamber membership, which encompasses both multinational corporations with operations in Europe and Global

The Chamber provides a respected and effective voice for the International business. At the same time, the Chamber's substantial local membership gives it firm roots in Europe.

The high credibility and status enjoyed by the Chamber give it access to key areas of government where policy decisions are made. Not only is the Chamber regularly consulted on matters that have a bearing on the interests of the private sector, such as draft legislation and new or revised government rules and regulations, but it also has members on numerous government advisory committees and statutory boards.

Besides issues of concern to businessmen and groups, members can seek the Chamber's assistance in their individual dealings with official organisations. They can also look to the Chamber for a wide range of facts and figures to help them in their business planning. Such information is readily available from the Chamber's extensive reference library, the contents of which are regularly updated to meet present needs.
